Privacy Policy

Effective June 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the DoseMyPool iOS app and the dosemypool.com website (the “Service”). DoseMyPool is built private by design: your pool and spa data lives on your device and in your own iCloud account. We do not run a server that stores your personal information, we do not sell or share your personal information, and we use no advertising trackers.

The short version. Your test logs, pool profiles, equipment, and photos stay on your device (and your own iCloud if you enable it) — we can’t see them. There are no accounts and no login, and we never ask for your name, email, or birthdate. The only personal data that leaves your device is what Apple needs to process a purchase and the subscription status our provider checks to unlock Premium — and only if you buy something.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Handler Labs LLC (“we,” “us”), 5510 NW 38th Terrace, Coconut Creek, FL 33073. Privacy contact: [email protected]. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer; given how little data we process, one is not required.

2. What we process, why, and our legal basis

Optional product analytics (if you enable it)On-device, privacy-preservingTo understand aggregate, non-identifying usageConsent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — off unless you turn it on

We practice data minimisation and storage limitation by design. We do not collect sensitive personal information, precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers.

3. Who receives data

We share data only with the providers needed to operate purchases:

  • Apple — processes in-app purchases/subscriptions (Apple is the merchant of record).
  • RevenueCat — processes subscription/entitlement status on our behalf as a service provider.
  • Apple iCloud — stores your data in your account if you enable iCloud sync; this is your storage, not a disclosure to us.

We do not sell or share your personal information, and have not in the preceding 12 months. Any third party who handles data for us is required to protect it consistently with this policy.

4. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and Apple and RevenueCat process the limited purchase data described above in the United States. Where this involves transferring personal data from the EU/UK, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards (e.g. the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the providers’ certified data-transfer frameworks). Contact us for details.

5. Retention and deletion

  • Your on-device/iCloud data is retained for as long as you keep it. You can delete all of it any time in Settings → Delete all data, remove individual records, or delete the app.
  • Purchase/subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained per their policies and applicable tax/accounting law.
  • To revoke optional analytics consent, toggle it off in Settings. To request deletion of any data we may hold, email [email protected].

6. Your rights

Because your data stays on your device and your iCloud, you can access, correct, export, and delete it yourself directly in the app at any time (Export test data and Delete all data in Settings). For any data we or our providers hold:

  • EEA/UK (GDPR): you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. There is no solely-automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.
  • California: we are not a “business” subject to the CCPA’s obligations because we do not meet its thresholds and do not sell or share personal information; nonetheless, as a courtesy you may request to know, delete, or correct any data we hold by emailing us, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We respond within the time required by applicable law.

7. Children

DoseMyPool is a general-audience utility. It is not directed to children under 13, we do not ask for age or birthdate, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Your data benefits from on-device file protection and your iCloud account’s encryption. Because we hold essentially no personal data on our own systems, there is little for an attacker to reach. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we keep our attack surface near zero by design.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or on dosemypool.com before the change takes effect. We review this policy at least every 12 months.
